Took inspiration from Tumeric Tonic at Feasting at home and changed it a little bit but not much.
- 2 big carrots and 1 medium
- 1 orange
- 1 apple
- ginger (to taste)
- half a lemon
- a little bit less than 1 table spoon of freshly sliced tumeric
Passed through Hurom slow juicer (link not for advertising but just so you know what I used – got it many years ago with airmiles points lols)
Beware of what i’m sure you may know tumeric is like a creasy dye, even if i sliced a tiny bit everything was orange and i was not able to take it off from my hands, the cleaning brush for the juicer and even the inside of it. Even with baking soda…
The taste is sublime, gives it a kick different from any hot spices. I’m having a bit of a cold right now so precise description of taste is difficult at the moment lols.
If you are still interested is juicing tumeric put protection on your cutting board, hands and try not to use anything white!!
